The Show Must Go On

The Disney Channel is perhaps known for its fantastic series, some of which aired for many years, others only lasted a couple of years, but either way, there will have been a television series that you rushed home from school to watch, or spent hours in front of over the weekends or school holidays.

In some cases, a Disney movie has gone on to inspire a new television series, but in others, the series inspired its own Disney Channel movie. A few series used these DCOMs to enhance the events of their series, keeping viewers interested with a full-length feature, but for others, sadly, the movie signalled the end of the television show, tying all the loose ends together, and allowing kids to get the closure they needed.
